so today's New Year Eve.

and I've got to work, but today might be fun, cos hweejoo is finally working in the same shift as me!
might be able to go for break tgt. heeeeeeheeeeee. (:

yeah & working is fun, I think, when you have your friends around you to joke and laugh with you, and of course, work!
yay and I have free coffee/tea/milo almost every night, free, with compliments from ToastBox coffee boy!
hahaha!

The coffee boy always say that he can't see my eyes or whatever, or that I look super tired, so he'll automatically make a cup of coffee or whatever drink for me. muahahaha.
he's such a nice guy! (:
but too bad, he's leaving tmr, going back to M'sia, so I can't hv my late night drinks anm.
I'll miss the coffee, man!

oh, and I need to complain again.
complain complain complain. you guys must think I'm a super complain queen right?
always complaining about customers.
well anyway, here goes. You can skip this portion if you don't want to hear about my nagging complains.

****Start of complain****

this lady, she queued up from the other direction opposed to the queue. like this:

The queue starts from the right then to the left, & customers always like to queue on the left, so we would always tell the customers to queue on the right, as there's the ToastBox toaster just beside the cashier and it's damn warm.

And so this woman, she queued on the left, and I politely told her to queue on the right, as the queue is originally from the right, then to the left. And you know what she said?!

Her: I don't see any queue sign, so I can stand anywhere I like.

WHALAO EH! And so I said:

Me: But will you please, queue up on the other side, because it will be unfair to the customers. Thank you M'am.

Her: !!! This is my second experience at breadtalk.

(& just at the moment, my manager passed by.)

Manager: Hi miss, is there any problem?

Her: Oh, so you're the manager here right? I don't see any queue sign here so I can stand anywhere I like, and your staff tells me to queue from the other direction. Look at your staffs' face! What kind of service is this?!

Manager: *Looks at me & partner*

(partner always has a poker face. Manager told me to smile more earlier when I first started work, and I have always smiled at customers after which.)

Me: *gives manager a 'I-don't-know-how-to-deal-with-her look*

Manager: (says to me) Let her make payment first. (because there's alot of ppl queue-ing and tsk-ing at the lady alr.)

Me: Okay lor. (& I did it really unwillingly man, & fuming inwardly)

oh, & i still clearly remember what she bought costed $8, and she gave me a $10. I politely told her that the "total will be $8, please. Thank you."

then she said,

"My money is already on the table. Can't you see? Are you blind?!"

That last underlined portion really infuriated me!

To hell with her!

Cannot stand this kind of customers man!
Whalao eh!!!!! LOL my partner was seething with anger and her face was red. Man, for the first time!

Somemore there's quite a few elderly people taking so much stuff and they bloody have to wait for this haolian lady to make her stupid payment. Can't she let elderly people make payment, and just bloody hell wait for awhile?! not as if she's like rushing for time, because from what I saw, she was choosing what she wanted to buy for rather a long time.

& the way she said to my manager to "look at your staffs' face", I wanted to tell her to look at her own first. She does not treat people with respect, and though we are people who are serving you, at least give some respect though it's in a million of a chance that we would see each other again. Anyway, who wants to meet that kind of ppl again? It's so obvious, we're like shit in her face.

And after she exited, many ppl were complaining about her because she's so bloody inconsiderate, and some customers even said she was crazy. LOL. Saw that she was bloody hell screaming her head off to this guy, presumely her husband?

Ohmygod, wonder how her husband/friend can take this kind of attitude from her? I wonder ..

hmmm, here for a short post before going to work.

worked on Sunday, saw Chen Hong Yu, Zhang Yao Dong and one other guy sitting at ToastBox.
omg omg both of the actors are gooooooood looking!

had an unexpected off day ytd cos too many ppl were working on Monday, so LingLing decided to be nice and give me an off day! (:
or maybe she's seen my face till want to puke alr then decided to give me an off day.
hah.
whateverrrr.
so went out ytd with AYan, Carlene and Sam.
watched Ip Man at Plaza Sing at 4.40pm, but we reached there like 2 plus.
so went for lunch & arcade!
hahahaha , been a long time since I went to the arcade.
played racing, guitar, drum and bball.
haha fun, but tiring!

watched movie, took neoprints, and in which the magnetic pen sucks like crazy [ohgod], and trained home myself, while the 3 of them took 162 back.
saw that it was long so decided to train home.
and know what?
when I reached AMK, they were still at Newton!
goodness know what time they went home man!

ohoh, on a random note, I saw KeeSoon working at Sakae Sushi in J8 on Sunday!
the shutters were closed, then I was writing the wastage when someone kept using his nails to knock on the shutters.
and I turned around and saw him!
hahaha.

I suddenly miss school so much.
Missed how we used to tease teachers, make teachers angry.
Hanging out at the corridor was what we used to do.
Listening to the lessons which dragged on, and the hypnotic voices of teachers.

Missed how we used to rush and change for PE.
Missed how we played powerball.
Missed how 4E was such a quiet class in front of teachers the first, and behaving like monkeys when the teachers left.
Missed how I used to play in the lab with Syairah and laugh like crazy fools.
Missed eating YongTauFoo with my mates despite the long queue.
Missed the times where we used to go for night lessons.
Missed the times where we would just simply stay there and slack.
Missed the times where we would feel so stressed up and grumble about it with our friends.

I missed the fun times.
so much.

They can never be relived again, but all there's left are photographs.
Memories of the fun times we had together.
I'll never forget my secondary school life.
Never.
and, I loved being in 4E.

don't know what to post sometimes.
just that it's work work work.
everyday routine.

ytd's work was quite fun with friends. (:
time seemed to pass really quickly from 3 to 6.
then it started to dragggggggggggg after 6 to 11.
felt like I had been there the whole day.
closed shop at 10.30, and miraculously finished at 10.40pm.
think it was so because there weren't any/much customers coming at closing time.
they always like to come in at closing time, when we were starting to pack up and stuff!
& when you are abt to pull the last shutters down, they would approach you and say, "Erm, can I buy now?"
irritating.
tsk!
on another happier note, I requested for another standard off day!
so I won't be working on every thurs and sat. (:
yay, and I'll be able to go shopping with my relatives, & i won't be working on public holidays.
Most of it, i think, from now till March?
haha.
Aunt's going back to Australia on Thurs.
Christmas' on Thurs.
New Year 2009's on Thurs.

so what for work your ass off on public holidays when there's so many ppl!
might as well take time off to rest/slack.

I think I did too much of packaging last friday, around 7hrs, that I nearly used the tongs to 'kiap' the money from a customer.

& ytd too, which was Hari Raya, & I had to work too.
truckload of customers.
cos we do not accept cards, so this guy gave me a card, & i thought that cards couldn't be accepted, so i told him that we do not accept cards here.
but the cashier, li juan, just took the card from him.
then she told me that it was a discount card.
ohmygod.
imagine the embarrassment man!
it was lucky that the manager wasn't there. phew.
& after the customer left & not many customers was around, li juan started laughing her head off!

First day of work was ystd, 4/12/2008.
learned how to package toasts/bread nicely, and had to do this fan like thing which took me an hour with around 30 packets(?) of bread. & it isn't easy at all I tell you! & the cashier head, LingLing, with the full timer,Du Juan could do it super fast.
oh, & the cake auntie too! She's Auntie Doris, & she's really nice! (:
hahahaha and almost all of the ppl there are either from China or M'sia.
Very few Singaporeans. ):
have to rmb all the bread ingredients, bread names & their prices, and I only have 3 days to memorise all, as of yesterday.
& i don't have any list to do, so hv to keep walking around the shop to see all the bread and memorise.
but nevertheless, work was alright and fun, but my back was aching like crazy after a few hours at work, & I don't know why! ):

oh & i couldn't stop dreaming about what I did yesterday in the shop!
it's a re-entactment of what I did ytd, and woke up a few times, but the dream kept continuing.
I kept dreaming that I was packaging bread, wiping trays and tongs, putting bread into plastic bags for customers, cleaning up the place, memorising bread prices etc.
& to think of it, I've to do this again later today.
& today will be night shift again.
it's like 48 hours non stop of work, both physically and mentally, ie in your dreams.
WHALAO!

hmmm, working on wkdays, and teaching piano on saturdays.
rest on sunday! (:
should be able to make a tidy little income every month.
heeheeheeheehee.
no wonder Dad says I'm money faced. $.$
